Hey guys,

We're going to go with trying some SSC tonight, unless we have a terrible mage shortage. Depending on how things go and people's opinions, we can schedule Mag for next week.

Also, please respond to this post if you have high skilled fishing (300+) - post your fishing skill if you know it offhand.

Figured i'd start this one off right and let you know i'm gonna beat your face. that being said my hunter's is over 300 and i believe Mimiori,Akuma and Hardwiggs fishing is also over 300.

Yay! Finally SSC!

I'll be there, and I have 365 fishing. (Do your arena in Darnassus people, fish between games instead of sitting around IF with a thumb up your... yeah)And I'll bring my set of resist gear that I've been working on. (Which is not close to what it could be if I could wear plate... But the best I could do)Does anyone have any "Mark of the illidari"(sp?) to buy the SSC/Eye/BT flasks from the rep vendor in the Scryer/Aldor bank? At least our MT/OT & main healer should have them.

I think that SSC went pretty well. I was hoping to have some more shots at Lurker, but getting through that trash took longer than I thought it would. Next week, we will fly through that trash though, and I think we have a real good shot at getting Lurker down. One thing I noticed, at least for ranged dps, when you go under water, if you swim down a bit, you can still dps and not have LoS issues. But just remember not to come up too close to the top before he is done spinning, or you will get hit (like me)

First of all -- let me say I had a *blast* checking out the new content. I had heard that the SSC trash was tough, but we handled it like pros. I think next week we'll definately have much better success, in fact -- I'm going to work on my nature resist set to bring with "just in case".I think the (obvious?) key to this fight is handling the transition to fast DPS those adds and back again -- if we're organized with that and can do the easy avoid of his spout, this boss will be a cakewalk.From the MT perspective, on our second attempt I found myself completely out of position when trying to go clean up the platform mobs after finishing those on the inner rings. I need to tank one or two of the spawned melee naga and stay in the center to pick Lurker up again when he rises. I'll have to go and read more info on the fight, but I think what I read was that you should take out their ranged first and *then* the melee. I've only watched one movie so far -- but it had a fury warrior tanking both adds that appeared on one of the platform, I think he really was just threatting on both of the targets and eventually ranged came around and finished off his two. Melee keep to the center platform because too much DPS time is lost swimming.

SSC was a great success in my book. We got the trash pulls figured out, and everyone got a taste of the lurker fight. I think if we research strats, and read up a bit more we can get that guy next week no prob.

And to top off the night... we got Gruul in only 11 grows! That's awesome dps.
