Hey you're almost there, just get your shoulders, chest and off hand enchanted (and anything else I missed, don't have a mage) and refer someone to this post and you can be a raider. Someone can also promote you to raider alt if you want.

You should be dropping 40 int gems in those sockets that have a mastery bonus. the 20 int 20 crit to gain 10 mastery is a loss over just skipping the socket bonus and just gemming for int. Also, crit enchant on your wrists would most likely be better off as haste. I didn't check your numbers, but at your gear level, haste should be reasonably better point for point than crit. I will assume that some of the other gemming (meta) and enchants would be fixed on better gear. spec and glyphs are reasonable. +1 for answering the questions in the app.

looks pretty good, track someone down online and we can get you an invite. raider alt should be fine for now, and when you're ready to raid, the transition to raider rank is theoretically pretty simple. i tried to clarify the difference between raider and raider alt in my reply in furrie's raider app if you want to check that out, i'm hoping it will make things a bit less confusing.
