potential raid absences

Post by draven » April 7th, 2019, 10:27 pm

greetings! it is time for the nhl playoffs again, and for those that are new here that means there is potential for never ending overtime hockey games on raid nights. it is highly unlikely that i will skip overtime playoff hockey watching to play wow, so i may or may not be late or mia for some upcoming raids. i'll keep this thread updated with my potential absences and provide updates when it looks likely that i will be late or mia.

the first games that may conflict are next week, tuesday 4/16 and thursday 4/18.

if you have any questions, please let me know :)

hehe rule #1 of ice hockey, at the professional level at least: always be aware of your surroundings
i suppose that goes for raiding as well :)

What’s the raiding equivalent of “keep your stick on the ice”, eh?

What's the protocol if you're delayed? Do we delay the raid, or does one of the officers lead, or what?

Thanks!

good question, usually no one else is interested in raid leadering so the raid is usually either delayed or cancelled. however if someone else wants to fill in i can probably log in to get things organized.

We all know the first few bosses pretty well, so if none of the officers is willing, I'll step in and do it. I won't promise it'd be pretty, but it beats waiting or canceling. Hopefully your teams will just win in regulation and it won't matter though. :D
