As HP would say, hit cap is not necessary for shadow priests; you just have to be aware of when your DoTs miss and reapply them accordingly. But otherwise, I don't play a shadow priest with much dedication in PvE, so perhaps it may be one of those debatable topics. I haven't looked into the numbers ...

I was originally planning to make it to the raid but it seems like I won't get home till about 8. If you guys need me still at the time I will most likely be on.
