So, i am making this post to officially tell people i am switching my main. Why would i do this you might ask...well i think i can answer that. I currently have 4 toons at lvl 80. I am busy with school right now and am looking for a job(as i havent had one for quite some time). I am transfering my druid to another account and shutting my other toons off for a while(this is in process as i need some money before i can make it official). Basically i have far too much to do for 4 toons. But i love to tank and dps...i cant do that with a hunter. Eventually i would like to bring my hunter back but for now my druid Vegimity will be my main. If i still merit an invite to 25's after this post i am happy to OT or dps on my druid as feral spec. Sorry if some people get upset about this as my hunter is my most geared toon, but i play this game to enjoy it and a hunter just cant do everything i want to do ingame. I enjoy both classes but one is much more versatile than the other.

Anyways i hope people understand but i just feel like life is too much for me so i am taking some advice given in a previous thread to focus on one toon and shut the others down. Otherwise i see myself quiting completely again for six months as i did before. I enjoy the game and i enjoy the friends i have here so i dont want to leave completely just minimize some of the distractions and hopefully enjoy the game and balance my other responsibilities.

Don't take this the wrong way. It's a game. We all pay for it. You're free to do what you want. But this is why I prefer not to allow alts into our 25's. Especially yours. I worry that you'll get a bunch of gear and then lose interest and switch to another toon.

While I understand the desire to focus on one toon, this flakiness and inability to focus has given you the reputation you have. You've been asking to bring your druid to 25's and now it seems like you're forcing the issue by locking off your other toons.

i only wanted to bring him to 25's to the toc 25...and honestly there really isnt a reason it shouldnt ahve been allowed...there was a lot of unused gear. I never asked to bring my druid to ICC 25. people can think what they want about me idc. i do loose interest all the time in different toons. that is why i have 4 toons now. I knew it would upset some people but i only had one piece of ICC 25 loot on my hunter and it was a piece no one else could have even used. so i dont feel bad. IF you are upset i understand but i am doing what i have to right now. If you feel i am forcing the issue i am sorry. My hunter has been geared by my 10 man raids with jim so if anyone should be upset about it...jim should be. I have taken no loot from Shootingboogs that he wanted. He has more ICC 25 gear than my hunter does. THe real issue here is that i cant do it anymore with so many toons. I like to tank and dps and the druid is the best choice for it. Sorry if i stepped on someones toes in making this decision.

If it is that big of a deal dont invite me to the 25's. I am happy to go as i enjoy them but i dont want to go if people are going to have ill feelings. Also it is not like my DKP is going to reset or anything. i used some on stuff for my hunter and i know i dont get that erased.

I had already made Vegi pick two toons to bring to the 10man groups because of the same concerns Dustin had. I don't want ANYONES alt to come in and take gear away from FA's 25man main raiding toons. From Vegi's angle I think he's making the right move. If you want to play less and have a hard time shaking the alts the best way to do it would be to account xfer your main guy/guys and go from there. By picking a hybrid he'll have more roles available to him without having to break out an alt which is what you need to avoid.

Just as an example I'll tell you what Crisis does. Raiders can change toons without taking a penatly but only at the beginning of new content. The toon they want to switch to must be appropriately geared and there must be raid spots available. More often then not, you are asked to bring another toon instead of asking to change specs/classes. Felstone the guild leader was bringing his hunter to the 25alt raid. The group had 7 (SEVEN) hunters in it. He got sick of raiding on his hunter and wanted to switch. He also happened to have the most DKP. His DKP was cut in half and he switched to his warrior.

Vegi you mentioned a bow, but I dont see that on the DKP list. All I see are Leggings of Northern Lights. They cost 25DKP and I think that if the officers charged you either 37.50dkp or 50dkp for them then that would be a fair poilcy and send the correct message to the raiders.

The bow was a 10 man bow...not a 25 man bow. SHootingboogs has been waiting for it to drop for a while now in his 10 man but it hasnt or he hasnt won it. that is what that is about. The only thing i have gotten from ICC 25 was the legs. Hunter legs that Shootingboogs already had before me. So there really shouldnt be a loot concern in 25 man.

I know i am wishy washy about my toons. this is an attempt to fix that concern. I have a concern with it about myself. I have the same issue that Biener said he had...he wants all his alts to be just as geared as his main and able to fulfill any roll. Well i cant do that anymore and need focus on one toon. I wont do that until the others are gone. I picked the hybrid though so i can fulfill 2 different rolls. something a hunter cant do.

Honestly i dont care about what penalty i get from a DKP standpoint if any. It is a game...it is the game i enjoy not the dkp. i enjoy seeing bosses die and being a part of it. if i get loot or not it doesnt matter so do what you want.

This decision isnt changing though. I have other things i want to accomplish in life besides having the most geared 4 toons in World of Warcraft. I made a decision that i felt best fit my level of enjoyment in the game. IF people have issues with that then i am sorry. I am happy to continue raiding if people still want me to come. My druid put out 5.8k dps on the new vault boss the other day so i think i can at least keep up with the rest of the raid at this point. I wont be pushing the top few on hte meter as i was on my hunter yet...but rest assured it wont be long until i get the few kinks worked out in my dps gear that i can push the meters just as i have done with my hunter. If you want me to tank i have a fairly nice tank set already with a nice set of HP. So i am happy to help out with whatever is needed.

Yeah I'm supporting your decision Veg, but in my mind it has to come with a DKP dock of some sort just for the sake of having a streamlined policy. The fact that you hadn't taken loot from anyone is just luck. If I were you I'd do that spec that beiner used where he had the best of both worlds in regards to feral talents and could tank in a pinch or also put out good dps.
