Which of the following best describes your raiding goals? The rest of your application will be judged based on the answer to this question.
1. Raid whenever you have time in whatever group is most convenient
2. Raid consistently in a normal mode group and maybe some heroics
3. Dedicated to progressing through heroics at whatever rate the group is capable of
4. Hardcore heroic progression
5. None of the above, please explain:3, I like to progress with new content, and push heroic modes, but helping the rest of the raid at the same time of strageties, that may help as well as learn more myself.
What is your raid experience? Please list as much as you think is relevant. Realms Keep was probly the most proactively progression guild I was in, though that guild kinda fell apart at the end of Wrath of the Lich King, I then kinda took a hiatus from Wow, then got back in more seriosly in Cata. I've done all the encounters in FL(except downing rag) Bwd, and BoT.
Why did you leave your previous (current) guild? I joined my previous(current) guild on the promise of a raid group that was a bit more casual, yet still raiding and progressing, but the leader of this raid decided to take a leave of absence from the wow, and the and I was stuck on the outter group of “nonraiders” since they had a very tight group of 10 for 10mans
Does anyone in our guild know you? I was in a previous guild with Phaul, but I have been in pugs with FA members many times
How did you find out about our guild? Well I've seen it as a guild for the last couple years, and from what I can tell they have done pretty well with staying as a guild whereas other guilds have collapsed due to drama etc....
How many alts do you have and is this your main? I have a low level DK and low level bank alt, but that is all I have on this server.
What are your play times? Sun(6pm-11pm) mon/tues/wed 7pm-11pm
Which of our raid times would you be able to make? Group 4 seems the best fit tbh....
Would you be willing to sit out if it is necessary without a fuss? If its whats best for the guild I would, especially if it's a boss that I don't need gear from to improve.
Have you spent proper time and money into your gear / enchants / gems? Yes I keep my gear enchanted/socketed for my spec, even though it can be expensive.
Raiders are expected to use consumables during raids. In the following categories what consumable would you use and why?
- Flask/Elixirs: [Flask of titanic Str]-str is the best damage increasing stat for my class next to crit/exp(to softcap(26) hit to softcap 11%, and for TG haste (mastery in large numbers can outscale haste and maybe hit beyond cap.
- Well Fed: I keep myself stocked with [Beer-Basted Crocolisk] 90str/90sta, same reason 2 of the most survivability stats for my class, the more stam the better for the long fights, where every hp could mean a wipe.
- Potion: [Golemblood Potion] same reason lotsa str= lotsa damage especially timed in the rotation and CD's can really boost damage
If you are DPS, what is the (spell) hit your character needs to be viable in a raid? 11% technically 8% if you don't count precision, I usually try to be a lil bit above to even out my rage generation, less spikey.
What is the basic gemming strategy for your character? If the socket bonus is STR, I usually try to get it to work so I get the bonus, ie- str gems/or depending on the color of the socket str/crit.
What is the basic reforging strategy for your character? I use reforging to maintain my caps, then load on the crit(which helps my flurry uptimes), then into haste.
What is your favorite boss fight and why? What boss haven't you fought that you're looking forward to the most? Tbh as of late even though I've not been in a group to down Rag very close though, it seems like the funnest, because it's very technical and everything has to work together right(the main prob I've run into in the pugs).
What boss mod(s) do you use? DBM, recount(tech not a bossmod), and Omen
What website(s) do you use to read up on encounters proactively? Tankspot/MMOchamp/Bosskillers/Elitistjerks-for rotations/gear BIS and good info
