PvP or PvE focus? PvE focused towards completing Heroics, and raiding the new Cata content when the oportunity presents itself.

What is your raid experience? I raided hardcore in BC and WotLK. I'm fairly new to raiding the Cata content. I've completed BWD once with the exception of Nef. I know when to move out of fire and when to switch targets.


Why did you leave your previous (current) guild? I recently transferred here from Azshara. It was a very low population server. Immediately upon logging into the game, a guild named Shadowmelded Moonkins invited me to join them. After less that a week on this server, I have come to realize, that is not the guild for me.

How did you find out about our guild? When I left Shadownelded Moonkins, I looked in the guild "directery" and saw Forged Alliance. I read the description, and it sounded like something I'd like to have the chance to be a part of.


How many alts do you have and is this your main? This is my main. I have 2 alts. One is a priest that I play with my husband. We're leveling a tank/healer team to 85 as fast as humanly possible. The other is a paladin that gets neglected. Lol.


What are your play times? I am a stay at home mom. My play times range from 7:30am - 11:30ish pm Sunday - Thursday. And 7:30am - ?? (usually after midnight) on Friday & Saturday.


Which of our raid times would you be able to make? I feel I would be able to make all of your raid times.


Would you be willing to sit out if it is necessary without a fuss? Absolutely! It's all about team work!


Have you spent proper time and money into your gear / enchants / gems? I am currently, gemmed and enchanted to the max (with the exception of my weapon. I'm waiting to get a better weapon before I enchant it with power torrent. It does have hurricane on it though.)


Raiders are expected to use consumables during raids. In the following categories what consumable would you use and why?
- Flask/Elixirs: Flask of the Draconic Mind because as a toon that Intellect is #1 stat, This is the best choice for flask at the moment in my opinion.
- Well Fed: Since I have not raided hardcore since Wrath, I'm not 100% about this, but I believe Basilisk Liverdog would be my choice for the haste buff.
- Potion: Volcanic Potion for increased spell power


If you are DPS, what is the (spell) hit your character needs to be viable in a raid? 8%


What is the basic gemming strategy for your character? For my character, I have all Brilliant Inferno Ruby (+40 intellect) with the exception of maybe 1 or 2 gems.


What is the basic reforging strategy for your character? I reforged to get my hit to 8%, then the rest went into Haste.


What is your favorite boss fight and why? What boss haven't you fought that you're looking forward to the most? My favorite boss fight is probably Professor Putricide. It's a fun fight (when you know it) and there's lots going on to keep you attentive.
The boss fight that I haven't done that I'm most looking forward to is Ragnaros, because he the final boss in the Firelands ( to my knowledge) and that would give me a feeling of accomplishment and completion to the game thus far.


What boss mod(s) do you use? I use DBM.


What website(s) do you use to read up on encounters proactively? I use youtube to watch encounters. I tend to watch the tankspot videos most often.

Spell hit cap is 17%. And if anything, we would probably prefer demonology over destruction if given a choice (although we're not known to make people play certain specs). Also, I make warlocks quit apparently (inside joke).

With your item level, if your application is approved, you would probably have to attend alt raids in order to get some gear as we're working on heroic progression right now and blues just won't cut it.

anyway, everything looks pretty good, except for the couple things that waterdrop mentioned and you're not quite exalted with therazane for the shoulder enchant. your gear isn't quite sufficient for our main raids, but you would be welcome to join as a casual raider so you can get into the alt raids, and then you can request a promotion later. as for spec, we generally don't require people to play anything in particular, but from the little i know of locks demonology or affliction are currently preferred over destruction by a fair amount, but really play what you enjoy most as fun > the extra 2-5% or whatever it is.
