What is your raid experience?
Did not start raiding until WotLK. Completed Naxx, OS, EoE, most of Uld with some hard modes, ToGC10, ICC10 and most of H ICC10. Current progression is 10/12

Why did you leave your previous (current) guild?
Sanctuary is still a fine guild. Many members of the core raiding team has moved on, so there are no longer any scheduled raids.

Does anyone in our guild know you?
Not that I know of.

How did you find out about our guild?
You guys have been prominent in Destromath for a long time.

How many alts do you have and is this your main?
This is my main, I have 2 level 85 alts that I rarely play.

What are your play times?
I am available most evenings of the week, except for Saturdays.

Which of our raid times would you be able to make?
I am able to make it to both your raids, but I am less busy and prefer the Sunday/Monday raids.

Would you be willing to sit out if it is necessary without a fuss?

What is the basic gemming strategy for your character?
Blues - Solid Ocean Sapphire (60 stamina)
Yellow - Puissant Dream Emerald (20 mastery rating, 30 stamina)
Red - Defender's Demonseye (20 parry rating, 30 stamina)

What is the basic reforging strategy for your character?
I leave hit/expertise alone and I take whatever I can from the gear.
I reforge dodge/parry (whichever rating is higher) into mastery and try to even out dodge/parry rating on the character sheet by reforge whichever is higher to the other.

What is your favorite boss fight and why? What boss haven't you fought that you're looking forward to the most?
In this expansion, I like Atramedes because it's one of the first bosses that introduces an entirely new mechanic to even the tanks. I also like Chimaeron because it's a fight that seems to focus more on skill than gear. I have not attempted Al'Akir yet, but from what I've seen, things get crazy in that fight.

What boss mod(s) do you use?
Deadly Boss Mods and Omen mainly.

Anything else we missed or you want to tell us?
I love tanking. I've started this character back when BC launched just for tanking. I've leveled as Protection all the way to 85. My Holy gear is not that great and I have not healed since WotLK, but I wouldn't mind healing for a fight or two. I don't care about gear as much as I do about raid progression. I'm a very laid back guy and don't mind wiping over and over on encounters as long as the guild is having fun.

I'm also a college student, so there may be nights where I may not be on time to raids or have to leave early. I always make an attempt to contact the appropriate people in such cases.

greetings, thanks for the app. everything looks good. there is debate about whether to gem straight stam in blue sockets or go with mastery / stam for blue as well, the general argument being that stam isn't as useful past a certain point, and saving healer's mana with more block is helpful. someone else can probably provide better insight into such things.

also, our sunday / monday group is generally full, but one of the tank spots in the tuesday / thursday group has not been consistent so that might work, although we've gotten a couple new tanks recently so there might be some competition for the spot.

anyway, track someone down in game and we can get you an invite.
