second raid group

greetings. as you may or may not be aware, our first guild raid group is doing pretty well with the new raids. for those that haven't been able to participate yet and are interested, i'm looking to get a second group together. i had hoped to do so this week, but i'm not going to have time. therefore i'm going to shoot for next thursday (the 13th) for the first run. we will likely need two tanks, three healers, and five dps.

i still need to figure out where we'll start, but it will be partly dependent on group makeup. i'll create a calendar event for the raid, please accept if you are interested, or let me know.

I'm still unsure of which Destromath toon to level first. Leaning towards Shadowpriest atm, but that could change. I'd love to play with you guys again. It'd depend on when this group ran but atm I'm not committed to any groups on either server.

a couple updates on this. i suspect we'll be lacking tanks / healers, but will still see if we can get something going tonight. if we can, we will start on halfus in bastion of twilight, please read up on the encounter.

also, i'm not going to be able to make it thursday, due to the fact that i will be attending jon / myrdinn's last concert in san diego before he spends next week driving across the country. if anyone wants to take the lead on organizing the raid, lemme know and i can give you assist on the invite.

for those san diego peoples that would be interested in seeing jon bang on his drums, the show is at the harp (4935 Newport 92107) in ocean beach around 9ish or so. come hang out, it will be fun

If you are a class that is able to heal and you want to break into raiding please start gearing up asap. There is a lot of interest in raiding currently in this guild and you are doing your guild a disservice if you are not willing to take one for the team and heal or tank. We are unable to accomodate every dps at this time. Do not take it personally if you are not selected. All things being equal the deciding factor is group comp.

Oh btw draven could you please put an all caps link to the forums or maybe make it really spammy like FORGEDALLIANCE.ORG go there now FORGEDALLIANCE.ORG FORGEDALLIANCE.ORG FORGEDALLIANCE.ORG as the guild motd so people will come sign up on the forums for the raid. I'd like to get some discussion maybe of other days that will work and so on. So remember, all caps and really spammy. You can do it ;P

We are cancelling Saturdays raid and hoping that the people that wanted to go to that raid will instead sign up for Dravens Tue/Thur raid. If you have any questions please msg Rathrbdrinkn or myself.

greetings. a couple more things on this. first off, things aren't coming together as quickly as i had hoped, but thanks for everyone's patience.
second, unless it looks like there a decent chance that we'll get a group together based on who has accepted the calendar invite and who is online, i'm not going to waste people's time by putting a group together to sit around and do nothing. therefore, if you are interested in going, please make sure you have accepted the invite by 7:45 at the latest. if we can get a decent group of at least eight people, i will try to pug the last couple spots, but i'm not interested in bringing in more than two random people.
finally, if anyone has preferences on days / times, feel free to share. i'm mainly trying tuesday / thursday at 8 because that's what we've done traditionally, and that's what works best for me. we can try different days and / or times if that would help.

greetings. invites are up for this week. thanks all who attended thursday, apologies for the delayed / sloppy group formation. hopefully things will start to go more smoothly. we'll continue on halfus this week, and then move on to magmaw in blackwing descent. please familiarize yourself with both encounters if you have not already.
also, i think we still have more dps than we can accommodate. the two main factors for the raid are still group comp and properly geared characters as there isn't much room for error at this point, so please make sure you are as prepared as possible.
