Ony Run + next week's raid

I've only been on one Ony run and we didn't take her down. I've heard rumors that it scales with raid size. If that's the case, do you all think we could do it? Or at least try one Wednesday night. Also, my vote for next Wednesday would be AQ20. Both AQ20 and ZG will be resetting next Thursday. So for a one night try, it may be fun to try to the first few bosses....er at least try the second long fight as a guild in AQ = ) And on the Ony note. I'm glad to park an alt lock outside Ony and help summon people over if we want to try that after a possibly short AQ run. Not to jinx us or anything

I am game for AQ or ZG I know we are not geared for AQ yet but we should be okay as long as all 20 people are there and work together. We should be able to get to Rajaxx and the long endurance fight. I am also game for AQ next Wednesday. now for Onyxia it is a 40 man raid, if we can get something there that would be exciting cause I know there is a few qho have not done that yet, but you have to make sure to have your amulet to get in her lair. Plus e need a good tank with good FR gear for sure. But anything should be fun, just post away and we can go from there.

I'm definitely interested in Ony for everyone. I could use the head to get the Ony Scale cloak pattern. And AQ sounds good. But I still want to work on ZG, 'cause I haven't downed Hakkar yet and he has my other Warblade of the Hakkari. Plus getting Zandalar exalted would be nice. What'd Hakkar drop when you killed him?

yeah I was thinking AQ just to mix it up. And with ZG resetting next Thursday, thought it would be a good week for it.

If we end up going to AQ, I would like to suggest that everyone read up on the Rajaxx fight since last time there was a lot of confusion on it. Specifically, on whether you can run back during the fight. Wowwiki has an extensive article on the strategy and here is there note on post 1.12 running back: (I think we spent more time arguing about this than fighting him)"You CAN run back after dying. Apparently you will not be allowed into the instance on any wave if the Named for that wave is not dead (Qeez, Tuubid, Drenn, Xurrem, Yeggeth, Pakkon, Zerran, Rajaxx) -- you will rez outside of the instance portal and not be allowed in until the named is dead. Once inside, you have until the next wave is called to be put into combat, so you can drink/eat to full health/mana or mount up to get back to the fight faster -- sometimes both. If you fail to re-enter the portal, make sure to back away from it before trying to return. Auto-running against the barrier will not cause you to zone in. Even if backing away and running forward fails to work, you should still see the load screen for a moment and a message in your chat log indicating failure - this at least means you're doing it right." http://www.wowwiki.com/General_Rajaxx

I'd be ok with an Ony run AND ZG or AQ. Ony is a pretty quick run and if we get there in time and fill the raid out, we could do that and still have time for a few ZG or AQ bosses.

Im a big AQ fan but i honestly think we should try ZG a few more times, We still havent downed Jindo to make it a complete clear, and i honestly think it to be a waste of a night if we spend an hour or so wasting our time and money on the Rajax fight, the guild needs better gear for that fight. Last couple of times ive cleared that part was with the Mssqueers and we know how hardcore raiding they are and i think we wiped twice with tthem and all their epics before making it past. Just my opinion.

I agree. Plus, for many of us, there is still plenty of gear and rep to be had in ZG

For a one night thing, AQ 20 would be much more difficult then ZG. It's a more difficult instance in general and would require much more time. So ZG would be a better option loot wise.

I vote ZG because I am 11676/12000 to my revered piece! Plus that second boss guy in AQ20 is rough even with a well-geared group.Robyn =)*dixiemartin* etc...
