Sorry I have been AWOL lately

Hey Guildies,

I have been taking care of some health issues the last month or so. I could barely work a computer much less raid. I am doing better and would like to join the Tues/Thur raids again. I don't know if I will be able to last the whole raid but can give it a try if you wouldn't mind me leaving early if I need to.

I don't see any invitations to the raid. Are we no longer raiding?

Raids were cancelled due to lack of interest. Hopefully we'll be able to start back up in Cataclysm.

Bummer, are there any 10 man raids that need a sub once in a while?

Doubt it, we're down to only 2 groups I think because everybody bailed. Log on anyways though and see whats going on

Did they just bail because it is summer or did something cataclysmic happen to the guild?

nah, we're continuing along as usual, it's just a lot of different things. it's been a long time since we've been able to consistently run 25s. with the way blizz has made the game, its very difficult for a guild like ours to keep, and / or attract interest from, people we'd like to raid with. unlike bc when raiding guilds were the only way to experience content, with both 10s and 25s now, i suspect a lot of people are content to run 10s with their friends or smaller guilds and not deal with the headache of 25s, and on the opposite end more hardcore people will head for higher end guilds. my guess is summer has a lot to do with it, or i personally know i've just been busy with a lot of other stuff, and with the end of wotlk near people are also probably just taking a break from the game, or getting ready for starcraft 2

in any case, we'll always be around in some form, and we'll see what cataclysm brings and how things go then.

on another note, if i ever get time to play somewhat consistently again i'll try to get another icc10 group going, but i have no idea when or if that may happen. or if someone else wants to take the lead on that, go for it
