25 Man Raid Attendance

To the people that used to attend 25 man raids (Tuesdays and Thursdays) and do no longer: Why?

There's quite a few of you. I'd like people to answer for themselves. I don't want speculation. I don't want arguing. I don't want any name calling. Even if its just a simple thing like Real life, I'm just curious. Is it something that can be fixed? Is it real life? Don't feel like raiding anymore? Running pugs with another guild? (and it that's the case - why?) Thanks for honesty.

My attendance drop off was a direct result of getting married. After many, many "conversations" about WoW with my wife we've settled on my current play times. I'd rather have a happy household and an in-tact router than regular raid attendance.

There is a direct correlation between the amount of married WoW guildies and the amount of pussywhipped men in this guild. (This goes for me too). I'm sure this is game wide as there is a thread up on the Crisis forums about where they work and most of them are either Unemployed/Self-employed or college students and all single/unmarried.

I'm pregnant and I make a horrible pregnant person, lol. I'm getting fatter, I have heartburn, things don't feel the same, and I get tired early. I miss raiding, but I'm sure you guys don't miss my sarcasm and mindless mistakes

I'm slowly starting to feel better, so hopefully I can get over the need of having to go to bed at 10 o'clock at night and start raiding again soon.

bigger != better

i can look into private messages, but i wouldn't expect it to happen anytime soon, unless its randomly happens to be easy to accomplish. it's not something i'll have time to check out before the weekend, so you'd be better off chatting in game or im'ing / emailing.

the site knows when beiner is prowling, so theoretically yes...

Any chance we can raid with another guild to fil empty slots? Alot like FA did with Benodiction. Does Crisis have a B Team or alts that we can use to fill out empty slots? Or perhaps go on a recruiting campaign?

Either way I am generally good to go Tues and Thurs with occasional avail as filler in 10man.

Was not feeling well and missed last night, sorry >_<. We may just have people burnt out. If the alt experiment doesn't produce results, I'm thinking of suspending 25 man raids until the zone buff is something fierce like 20%. In theory, 20 * 1.2 = 24.

Giving two more nights (Tue + Thu) back to the 10 man groups (or a new 10 man group) may also help people get more practice with the raid mechanics in a smaller setting where explanations are easier. Perhaps if more people are confident and know how the fights work from practice in 10s, we can go back into ICC25.

I'm kinda leary about recruiting, we had a rogue roll on a tanking trinket Tuesday? Kinda scary if you ask me if you haven't raided with the peson.
One of inori's post was to check ppl out in randoms. I am more then willing to tank them if an officer is willing to go to watch the progress.

Well obviously through our recruiting process the rogue wouldn't have made it. Really though, he was wearing PvP gear so him rolling on that trinket wasn't out of the ordinary for him. Besides that, he's from SMM what did you expect?

We would have to find another guild to group with, Crisis' B Team has its own raid on Saturdays, and one of the casuals hosts a very successful (Downed Sindragosa25 I hear) PUG on Fridays that any stragglers usually attend.

Jeff has tried some light recruiting with poor results. For better results we need to go more widespread. WoL has a recruiting forum, so does WoW and MMO-Champion. Besides that when I was doing my guild search on Wapau a few months ago I found a site similar to a job hunting site, except for it matched you to guilds. If we could find that site again, it would be a good idea to place an ad there. It was put together very well.

Looks like Degenerates and Sanctuary are having players drop right now. Lots of threads from there former members on the Crisis recruitment board. Maybe hit them up for a joint raid or just spam trade with recruitment posts and we might get some bites.
