4/11 Kharazan Raid Signup

Please use this thread to reserve a spot for the raid tomorrow evening (4/11). Raid time is 7PM Server. Hopefully we can have a full guild run with no PUGs. We may have more than 10 from the guild interested in going. If that happens we'll have to go with the best optimal group for the run. If we can fill out the group with tanks and healers, then DPS and support class preference will be based off order of sign-up on this thread. Going forward, we need something better so that all who want to raid Khara can go. An idea proposed is that we add a second raid night to continue the raid instance. This will allow for all to raid who want to go, allow for people to raid who can't usually make Wednesdays, and allow us as a guild to get farther into the instance. Please use the survey on the home page to vote for your preference of a second raid evening. See you all on tomorrow evening!

So I'll cheat since I started the thread and reserve my spot: Myrdinn - Resto specced unless we don't have 2 warriors, then will off tank instead.

Im going to say leave room for Chuunks as he confirmed with us last night he would be there. Thats a full group already. 2 rogues, 2 priests, 2 pally's, 2 warriors, hunter and a lock.

I'm not going. Not keyed... but... Since we are assembling for Kara on wednesday nights, couldn't we attempt a world dragon pre-Kara? We could try that wanker Ysondre again if he is around... TJ, I'll be on this afternoon; maybe WAnda and Gath and some others can do CoT.

So currently: 2 rogues, 1 priests, 1 resto druid, 2 pally's, 2 warriors, hunter and a lock. It would be nice if I were a priest to shackle, but I'll be showing up as a resto druid if needed to heal. For heals it looks like it'll be Escarriot, Dixie, Myself, and Dudepal off healing? Is this a good group make up for Khara? Do I need to be there for heals or will you all be okay with 1 priest and 2 pallys? I can swap out with a mage if needed, and save myself a respec fee if that would work better. It looks like there are a few attuned who may want to go (Blastine, Another, Mahnalor). Also, does anyone need to leave early or will not be able to stay late so we can swap people out. Alternatively, we can schedule a second raid night on this thread to ensure all who want to raid Khara can get in there this week.

As far as crowd control, mages are useless as its all undead. It would be real nice to have them for aoe purposes....but I guess we will see how it goes.

Seems like a fairly solid group make-up to me, although there are a few points of concern. First boss we'll be fine. On the moroes fight, I think we'll be OK as well. We'll be able to shackle one add, frost trap another, have the pallies fear a third, and myrdinn will be able to cyclone any that don't get CCed fast enough. Mages aren't terribly necessary, because nothing can be sheeped, however, it would be nice to have one for aoe. We'll make due with what we have though, Myrdinn can lay down some hurricane, fargol can do his thing, and the pallies can consecrate. I respecced shadow, so I think it would be best if you went resto, myrdinn. Main reason being that we want to have as few melee dps as possible. 4 will already be too much for the Maiden of Virtue fight. Reason being she does a chain lightning attack that gets stronger the more targets it hits, so if there are 4 melee bunched up at her feet, the 4th one will be getting hit for 6k damage or so. Also, she constantly concecrates the ground around her, making it doubly hard for melee characters. If we find this week that we don't need 3 dedicated healers, we can also switch things around for next week.

Alright, I'll respec and we'll give it a go with this group. So lets talk tonight about a second raid night this week. Regardless of what happens with a second raid night, I'd propose that anybody who wanted to go tonight and can't go, gets first priority for next Wednesday's raid.
