Mumble Server is Down

Post by Inori »

The Mumble server is down. Jeff may be able to remotely reboot it, but in the near term, Alan has a vent server that we may be able to use for the raid temporarily. I'm also going to try out Skype since that is just a conference call (no server needed).

greetings! i'm currently in seattle, but i'll see if i can get to the server from here today sometime. if my apartment lost power, the server probably shut down and i'm guessing i won't be able to do anything about it. i'll be heading back this week, but i don't expect to be home before friday so hopefully you can find an acceptable alternative if necessary.

How's the coffee? Don't rush back; vacations should be as long as possible.

i don't drink much coffee these days, but i have been enjoying some local craft beers :)

i can't get to the server so it is probably shut down. i can't start it from here so hopefully other alternatives will work for this week. my apologies for the inconvenience.

greetings! i am returned. i'm not sure why the mumble server was down, it was working fine when i got back despite the fact i didn't do anything to it. it's possible i may have lost internets for an extended period of time. i rebooted the server anyway, can someone please confirm that they can connect? thanks!

It works; we used it last night for the Pinkbird flex raid. Since it was a flex, we did have some cross server people on the Mumble. If anyone notices weird behavior on the server, be sure to post so Jeff can cycle the Mumble password (I don't think it will be an issue since the people in the flex raid were all pretty chill).
