What is your raid experience? I've been playing since vanilla wow, so I've done a great deal of raiding in my time. MC/BWL/AQ/Kara/SSQ/Gruul/ICC/Naxx/Ony/ToC/Uld/Archavon/Blackrock/Bastion. Some of that has been 10/25/40 man raids, some heroic some non-heroic. Generally I can lear any new fight pretty quickly, it has been a while since I raided regularly but I would like to get back in the swing of it. I started out healing as a paladin way back in the day, then went range dps. There is no going back...


Why did you leave your previous (current) guild? My previous guild was primarily family and close friends, although we did do some 10 and 25 man raiding. I took a hiatus from the game, and now when I log on there is no one online in the guild. It appears to have died.


Does anyone in our guild know you? Not that I am aware of, although it is possible. I've been on Destro for a longgggg time under various names, if you have any former Masquers they would probably know me as Zwit or Atvi.


How did you find out about our guild? Seen your people on the server for a long time, also saw you were looking for a hunter in your 2nd group on the realm forum.


How many alts do you have and is this your main? Sooo many. The hunter is my main, I also have a 85 mage, 85 druid, 82 lock, 82 rogue, 80 paladin, and others spread across various servers.


What are your play times? Weekday evenings and weekends whenever.


Which of our raid times would you be able to make? I think I could probably make all of them? Assuming you don't start before about 7pm Pacific. I am in Hawaii and I generally don't get home from work before about 4pm on weekdays, which is 7pm pacific time.


Would you be willing to sit out if it is necessary without a fuss? Yeah sure.


Have you spent proper time and money into your gear / enchants / gems? I was up snuff for the content I was doing before I took a break, I need to "freshen up" a little bit and I will be fine.


Raiders are expected to use consumables during raids. In the following categories what consumable would you use and why?
- Flask/Elixirs: AP. Da best.
- Well Fed: Usually raid buff but otherwise the agi salmon
- Potion: haste


If you are DPS, what is the (spell) hit your character needs to be viable in a raid? currently hunter hit cap is 961 for 8%. I am at 963 hit rating.


What is the basic gemming strategy for your character? AGI AGI and more AGI, as of last I checked. Unless you are greatly lacking in a certain stat.


What is the basic reforging strategy for your character? Cover your hit cap, and then fix any lacking stat that you may ahve.


What is your favorite boss fight and why? What boss haven't you fought that you're looking forward to the most? Still original Ragnaros. There was just something so impressively large, the first time you see him come flying up out of the magma. As for a boss I haven't fought, honestly I would like to do the Lich King, and in a future raid, I would like to do the new Ragnaros. I still haven't seen him.


What boss mod(s) do you use? DBM


What website(s) do you use to read up on encounters proactively? MMO Champ, wowhead, youtube, allak.

Anything else we missed or you want to tell us? I want to start off Casual Raider status, and ideally move to actual Raider tier in a couple weeks, once I have caught back up with the game. In the mean time, I would just like to be a part of a friendly, mature community again. This game is so damn lonely with no guildies to chat with. Also, if you want em, I am more than willing to bring most/all of my leveled alts into the guild. They are all in the same dead family guild as my hunter at the moment. Except the rogue, she is horde.

+1 for a former Masquers member IMO.

There are a few things about your gear that can be nitpicked with reforging/gems/enchanting but
I really can't imagine asking you to blow tons of gold to hyper-tune blues and T11 content stuff.

I would probably expect to see something along the lines of getting invited but needing to
catch up on gear before full raider status.

I also have no clue if Group 2 still needs a hunter or not. draven would be the guy to comment on that.
