just a heads up that i might not make the raid tonight. i've no power at the moment, and apparently that is the case for most of san diego, so there's a decent bchance it won't be back on anytime soon. we've had some terribly sunny weather today, so i'm guessing that's the cause.
if i'm mia and you guys can't get a group together, i'll suggest moving it to tomorrow if enough people can make it so we don't let rag off the hook this week

Yup from San Diego all the way east to Yuma, AZ is without power, including cities in Mexico near the boarder. News channels are saying some 1.4 million people are without power. And so far they are no clue why the loss of power.

everything is back up and running now. my apologies again for missing out last night, but i suppose this was a better excuse than being drunk in a bar somewhere. i'm not sure if anyone will be able to make it tonight, as i'm not sure i even would make it, so i put up invites for sunday and monday to see if we can get a group together, but no worries if you can't or don't want to raid then. if we aren't able to get a group together, i'd prolly be interested in extending the raid lockout next week so we can just work on rag, but i'll take a vote on that before the raid tuesday.

You're the raid leader -- you do what you want! Actually, what you ought to do is do your lockout in reverse. Extend the raid lockout to work on Ragnaros on Tuesday. If you kill him, good jyarb. If you don't, just cancel the lockout and do a 6/7 clear on Thursday. I'm pretty sure it works like that, but if it doesn't, then you get two days worth of Ragnaros, kek.

dont worry about it, we where short 3 people even with you we would have been short 2.

as far as extending the lock out goes, what ever the group deicdes to do is fine, I know that I personaly still have things from the first 6 bosses I need as im sure others do also, my fear is that we extend the lock out kill rag on tuesday and then have wasted a week

personally, i consider every week that we don't kill rag a bit of a waste. we don't need more normal mode gear at this point, we just need the time to practice and perfect the strategy on rag so we can get him down and move on to hardmodes. that's just my opinion though, which is why i want to vote on it before the raid tuesday, assuming rag isn't dead by then
