Apology to the guild

Post by Han »

I wanted to publicly apologize to the guild for rolling on both warblades in tonights raid.  It was selfish of me to roll on two purples in one run, and thats not what this guild is all about.  In retrospect I should have passed on the second epic.  Even though we discussed it (although quickly) at the end of the raid, I still feel terrible about it and want everyone to know I did not mean to break the loot rules.  The rules are there to spread loot out evenly among guild members, so I apologize for hogging it.  Hardwigg, although the swords will be obsolete soon due to BC, I will try to make it up to you in the future.  I owe the guild bank some extra donations too as penance.    Sorry guys.

I've already reported your shenanigins to the office of Homeland Security. You are clearly an enemy of the state and must be dealt with swiftly. LOLDude relax. I'll have cyborz with Dan later to make him feel better, dunno how pissed he is. This was a unique situation I think. You won the 1st sword fair and square and frankly outrolled everyone on the second piece as well. I wasnt sure if we had a 1 or 2 epic rule, but no offense to Hardwigg, its better in your hands due to the set piece bonus.Dunno how effective the + to sword skill is, but with my priest, im hanging on to my zg ring set even though they are blue and i have epic rings to replace them. The set piece bonus puts them over the top stat wise.Your sword spec, been in guild for a while, I dunno who else can make better use of it honestly.Besides in this guild, rogues ninjaing from hunters is like a rule or something right?

Good point Tig, check out this drop from the first boss in Hellfire Ramparts (the first instance we will be doing in outland)http://www.thottbot.com/beta?i=2117Stat-wise, its a pretty sweet blade. On the note of the sword skill, I am not sure what weapon skill does since the big 2.0 patch, but it seems to be .1% chance to crit per 1 weapon skill over your level.  But this is just hearsay, the patch notes were super vague.

No need to apologize or anything.  The blade is better off in your hands for sure; I just get selfish.  But I'm sure BC will have some sweet offerings really soon, you know, if it works.I'd be more worried about K reporting you to Homeland.I'm starting to freak out at whatever he meant by "cyborz."  Kinda scared.

I thought it was pretty cool you ended up with the set in one run...but druids can't use swords so it's not like I cared that much personally. I was thinking who's going to get the best dps bump from the drop and a sword spec rogue wins on that account.  Definitely no worries from me, we'll need the extra dps for Hakkar next time.

Good job on getting both swords, no need to apologize though, the set bonus definately helps us rogues when we have duel wielding swords. But I want ot see you more on the threat meter and damage meter when we need it. But gratz on the sowrds once again.

Well I am glad there are no hard feelings, but we should make sure we stick to the rules we decide on.  Yeah I am hoping to grace the damage meters as well :)

I think its ok to have guildies build complete sets sooner than wait for rolls to complete a set.  An unrelated example are the 4 gemstones for the UBRS key, makes sense have more keys then for everyone to have three stones and no keys. Just my two Cents! or copper!
