PvP or PvE focus? I enjoy both PvP and PvE aspects and I try to keep a good balance of both from Raiding, BGs, Arena, RBGS. I do it all.

What is your raid experience?
I have been playing WoW since alpha beta. I raided extensively in vanilla, quit shortly after BC for a while so got a late start to BC raiding. Picked up strong at the release of Wrath and downed 10man LK and half or so heroic modes by the end of Wrath on multiple toons. I am currently 12/12, 6/12hms in 4.1 content. I recently xferred with two real life friends of mine as well as my wife. We stepped into FL with our guild horde side but due to summer vacations etc were forced to pug a bit. We know 4/7 but have not had the raid quality to down them. With a solid raid makeup of competent players I am fully confident that I can go 7/7 normals and pushing for HM's at a fairly good pace.
Why did you leave your previous (current) guild?
We left Horde because the majority of the server had xferred there and we were just tired of the crowd over there. Knowing everybody and just needed a change in the style and players that we were conducting all aspects of the game with. I guess you can say we just say we got burnt out For The Horde over the past 4-5 years or so.
Does anyone in our guild know you?
I have been talking with your elemental shaman by the name of Mahatma for a little over a week or so now. We have talked about our intent, the guilds current needs, capabilities, and goals and seemed to both hit it off rather well. I believe he/she has referred me to the GM or current officers. He/she knows what myself and others I have brought over will be able to bring. We have talked about the forming of FA's 3rd raid composition and we all very excited about that.

How many alts do you have and is this your main?
I have been playing since beta so I have many alts and toons. Currently I have 7 85s, 1 83, 1 80, and 1 44. This character has not always been my main and in fact was a distant alt that wasn't played much at all, until recently. I hit 85 on this toon on the 15th of this month and and grinded horde to get my prot set prepared. Currently ilv360, ilv357 equipped and have formed two bwd/bot pugs since I have been here, although no luck on drops/rolls atm.
What are your play times?
I play daily anywhere from 4-5pm central to late hours of the night, I put in a lot of time.
Which of our raid times would you be able to make?
I can currently make it to any of your 2 current raids. Although talking with Mahatma I know they are pretty solid and I am looking to become your MT/OT for your 3rd raid composition or sub in when necessary.
Would you be willing to sit out if it is necessary without a fuss?
I have no issues sitting out and I am well aware of how progression can go. I do hope that if I am giving a perm raid slot sometime in the future that I may be allowed to seek or form another raid if I must sit out for that week.
Have you spent proper time and money into your gear / enchants / gems?
I have put the time into my gear/enchants/gems. I am still currently working on Thera rep for shoulder chants but I will grind that out with ease. As I stated before this character has only been 85 for seven days.
Raiders are expected to use consumables during raids. In the following categories what consumable would you use and why?
- Flask/Elixirs: Flask of Steelskin if needed to maximize health or Elixir of Master for overall mitigation if it's of more importance. Depends on the fight.
- Well Fed: Lavascale Minestrone 90mastery/90stam
- Potion: Earthen Potion for a nice 6.8% dmg reduction on demand, when needed.
If you are DPS, what is the (spell) hit your character needs to be viable in a raid?
I will have a DPS OS and will need 8% hit and 26 expertise.
What is the basic gemming strategy for your character?
To maximize my mitigation/avoidance and maximum effective health.
What is the basic reforging strategy for your character?
I try to keep my avoidance as equal as I possibly can. I push mastery where possible and I also try to fit in some expertise as it is my most effective threat stat.
What is your favorite boss fight and why? What boss haven't you fought that you're looking forward to the most?
This is a really hard question for me as I have been around for so long. My opinion also changes often with how Blizzard applies nerfs to content. I had fun being the OT on Shannox, setting up traps between spear tosses was a bit different and interesting. I am currently really looking forward to seeing Ragnaros again. I would put that up on my most looked forward to encounter but I am looking forward to all the FL fights.
What boss mod(s) do you use?
DBM and Big Boss to monitor raid performance - flasked,well fed, missing buffs etc.
What website(s) do you use to read up on encounters proactively?
I, like many, enjoy the tank spot videos but I often youtube random videos as I like to theory craft and see multiple strats for any given boss.
