Which of the following best describes your raiding goals? The rest of your application will be judged based on the answer to this question, so please make sure your character reflects your goals.
2. Raid consistently in a normal / heroic mode group and maybe some mythic
3. Dedicated to progressing through mythic at whatever rate the group is capable of
- both

Please link your armory profile:

- http://us.battle.net/wow/en/character/d ... A3m/simple

What is your raid experience? Please list as much as you think is relevant.

-Vanilla(ZG)/BC(Up to Hyjal)/Wotlk(All)/cata(entry raids, took hiatus)/MOP(All but staggered, 8/14 mythic)
-never again will I be a cleanse bot on a resto druid.......

Why did you leave your previous (current) guild?

-Raid times are extremely early and can't always make it on time (it's currently 5:30 PST Wed/Sun)

How did you find out about our guild?

-University Friend - Rumraisin

Does anyone in our guild know you?

-Yes, See above.

How many alts do you have and is this your main?

-4 level 100's + main, this is my main.

What are your play times?

Scheduled raids, leisurely playing. varries depending on content

Which of our raid times would you be able to make?

-Both days
Tue/Thur 8-11
Would you be willing to sit out if it is necessary without a fuss?

-If required as long as it isn't entire raids as the purpose of being in a raiding guild would be negated

What website(s) do you use to research your character(s)?

-Icy veins for general talents, Usually from experience of the class I decide and occasionally the fights depending on progression.

Have you spent a sufficient amount of time and gold on your gear, gems, and enchants?
-I enchant and gem based on whether it will or will not be replaced soon so their quality of such reflects upon it. Ex. I find its a waste on spending a large sum enchanting a piece with bad stats you know you will replace with the next drop you get because you took it for the pretty epixs (kidding) It lacks a the stats you gain the most from.

Raiders are expected to use consumables during raids. In the following categories what consumable would you use and why?
- Flask/Elixirs: Intellect or Strength
- Well Fed: Crit or Haste
- Potion: Intellect or Strength - depends on fight difficulty, will not waste if its on farm or isn't progression.

What is the basic gemming strategy for your character?
-varries depending on my current stats for stat breakpoints. Particularly haste.

What is your favorite boss fight and why? What boss haven't you fought that you're looking forward to the most?
-Karazan, playing that epic chess battle. Blackhand

What boss mod(s) do you use?
-DBM

What website(s) do you use to proactively research raid encounters?
-icyveins/youtube beta videos if required. generally learn encounters after participating in them once as a healer.

Is there anything else you want to tell us?

-I'm a student and may have scheduled exams during a possible raid time, notice will be given.

Are there any ways that we can improve the application process?
-Not requiring food/flask/potion they use as it is a given on what they will use based off their specialization since WotLK essentially.

Edit:link should work now

the raider requirements generally reflect this, especially at the beginning of the expansion when everything is relatively expensive. it's mainly a balance between being reasonable and avoiding 1% wipes due to lack of maximizing characters.

you'd be surprised how many people don't know the answer to this, or don't realize how important it is to always use consumables.

anywho, my standard disclaimer to youngins these days (or anyone for that matter) is that we expect our members to behave in a mature and respectful manner, but as long as you are capable of doing so it shouldn't be an issue. i'm sure rumraisin has enlightened you on the way we generally operate. assuming you're still interested in joining us, track someone down online once your faction change / transfer is complete and we can get you an invite :)
